Frances started in private practice in 2001, working primarily in the areas of employment, criminal law, family and resource management. She also served on a restorative justice panel. 

After moving to Christchurch in 2007, she spent four years with the Ministry of Social Development, working with Child, Youth and Family. She returned to private practice in 2011 when she joined our Litigation team. She has extensive experience in family matters, relationship property, domestic violence and proceedings involving the care and protection of children.  

She has been appointed by the Court to represent children in the Family Court.  Away from her busy professional life, Frances is an accomplished musician and hopeful gardener
