Commencing practise in the law in the late 80s, he became a partner of WWL in 1995. David has a wide range of experience. David heads our Property and Business team. Over the years he's served on a number of boards including chairing Law Alliance NZ , a national association of law firm.
When dealing with any problem David will always look at it from a common-sense perspective and try to give every client practical advice.

Successes:
- Re-entered chained door commercial premises with the lawful occupant.
- Unravelled a trust and company structure to secure our client over $1,000,000 from the clients' separation settlement when the client had been told by their first lawyer that they were entitled to nothing.
- Got improperly recorded loans taken out of a relationship spilt calculation resulting in our clients' position improving by $100,000.
- Re-visited the terms of a property holding trust and secured a $400,000 greater share for our client.
- Defeated a tenant company asset stripping exercise designed to leave the tenant worthless to the landlord.
- Set up a trust for a special needs client with aging parents and to which all the clients' assets were put and future income diverted.
